ABOUT DR. KATIE HARNEY
Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.
My name is Dr. Katie Harney - but I'm also the "Dollar Challenge Club" creator.

After working for 5 years as a Clinical Audiologist, I shifted my focus toward my lifelong passion of helping people lose weight and live their healthiest life. As a certified fitness professional, certified Functional Aging Specialist and Certified Nutritional Consultant through the AFPA, I have had the privilege of influencing the lives of tens of thousands of women looking to transform their bodies and create healthy lifestyles.

I have also starred in some top selling fitness videos sold worldwide including “The 14-Day Total Body”, “The DollarFit Club”, and “30-Day Dollar Challenge Club”. 

Most importantly, I am a new mommy, and just like most women I too struggled with my health and fitness after (and even before!) giving birth. It wasn't until I applied the secrets that I share with you inside my 'Dollar Challenge Club that I was finally able to get the body I not only desired but deserved. 

I have developed a deep appreciation for the power of eating healthy, staying active, and focusing on looking and feeling my best. My overall mission is to instill this lifestyle in millions of women around the world.
If you turn back the clock ten years, my habits looked VERY different than they do today. I fell victim to marketing ploys that advertised healthy foods (if it came in a box and was labeled "healthy" or "lean," I was all over it!) Real foods were not a big part of my diet as I relied on "convenience" foods that were highly processed, laden with artificial ingredients, and chock full of sugar. 

I also believed that doing the elliptical for an hour while reading a magazine five times a week was all I needed to get a great workout in. Push ups? Pull ups? Nah, those were for guys- or for girls who wanted to look like a guy!

Because of this mindset and behavior, I was constantly bloated, fatigued, holding onto weight that I just couldn't get rid of, and struggling with self-confidence and self-love.  

After having my son, those same habits- and their negative effects- started creeping back into my life. As a busy, working mom...it feels so overwhelming to get a workout in and prepare healthy meals. 
It was a scary trip to the hospital that gave me the kick in the butt I needed to take charge of my health and happiness and just say NO to feeling bloated, unattractive, and sluggish. By tossing out the prepackaged, processed junk food and learning how to apply "Ingredient Sharing" to prepare delicious, nutrient rich, clean-eating meals, I dropped the baby weight, eliminated my digestive problems, and skyrocketed my energy- all while being simple, sustainable, time-saving and money-saving.
I started working out the RIGHT way, and have never felt stronger or more confident in my body- even pre-baby.

Experiencing this positive life change is the reason I quit my first career and devoted myself to studying fitness, nutrition, and wellness- so I could share my methods with women who may be suffering and feeling lost on what to do...just like I was.

Ultimately, I am driven by two things:

*Helping people take control of their health by teaching clean-eating, gut-friendly meal prep in a way that makes it possible to stick to, even with how busy and chaotic our lives can get
*Teaching effective, efficient exercise methods that prevent weight loss plateau so you want to KEEP GOING! 

I believe that EVERYONE deserves to feel fit, strong, healthy and confident- you are worth it! Let's do this ;)
